ACCESS SECURITY LEVELS and INFORMATION

This site provides information to a wide range of users, including the public, law enforcement investigators, crime lab technicians, forensic investigators, lock and safe manufacturers, private security, locksmiths, and government intelligence agencies. This site shall determine the appropriate access level for each user, and shall have the right to enforce its' requirements as to the access and dissemination of information.

Certain information relating to bypass of high security locks, equipment and technology, will be restricted to government intelligence agencies and specific law enforcement organizations only. Likewise, the description of bypass tools used to covertly enter high security locks, and description of certain surveillance equipment, will be provided only to authorized agencies.

U.S. federal law controls the sale and distribution of certain bypass tools, and surveillance equipment. Positive Identification will be required of all site users who wish to purchase such tools and devices.

The following security levels have been established for this site, to access information.

1. PUBLIC: General information regarding locks and safes; on-line video; patents and legal research; security alerts; links to other sites. No security clearance is required. Registration is only required to access reports for which there is a charge. Access to all other areas is not restricted. No fee charged for accessing public areas.

2. RESTRICTED: On line catalogs of lock and safe bypass tools, locksmithing tools, and related equipment. Certain high security bypass tools, that are not available for general distribution. LAW ENFORCEMENT, CRIMINALIST, AND GOVERNMENT INVESTIGATORS WITH POLICE POWERS, LOCKSMITHS, and QUALIFIED PRIVATE SECURITY. Access to all information regarding locks and safes, on-line video, and access to Security.Org Infobase.

Proof of identification required, verification of law enforcement status, agency approval, for government agencies. Proof of identification required, need-to-know, membership in one or more professional organization approved by Site Administrator. Proof of licensing, bonding, or other professional certification. Membership in the following organizations will be accepted: NLA, NSO, ALOA, SAVTA, ASIS, ELF, MLA, AFTE. 

3. SECRET: GOVERNMENT INTELLIGENCE AND COVERT ENTRY, and CERTIFIED SAFE AND VAULT TECHNICIANS. Access to all information regarding locks, safes, and vaults, and bypass.

Proof of identification required. Agency approval. Password and screen name will be issued by site administrator. Membership in NSO, SAVTA, ALOA or equivalent organization required for non-government agents. Access to information in the Safe and Vault area will be restricted to this clearance level. All information is SSL encrypted.

PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION will require authorization requests on agency or company letterhead, full street address verification by telephone, membership in one or more professional organizations, including ASIS, APA, AAPP, IAI, AFTE, AAFS, IACP, ALOA, NLA, NSO, SAVTA, CFCA, professional licensing (if applicable) taxpayer identification (if applicable), social security number (if applicable) need-to-know (if applicable) supervisory approval within certain agencies.

FEES:  No fees will be charged for access to the information contained within the infobase on this site. However, you must have a valid registration number that was issued with a copy of the textbook Locks, Safes, and Security. You may obtain a copy of this book from Charles C. ACCESS RESTRICTIONS AND SECURITY for SAFE AND VAULT INFORMATION

Access to safe and vault materials is restricted.

Access to all safe and vault data requires an access security clearance Level 2 or 3. You are required to register prior to gaining access to any information in this area. You may, however, view the subject indices without a password.

A Level 2 or 3 clearance is only granted to professional safe and vault technicians, specified law enforcement agencies, and government agencies. You must be a professional, certified safe and vault technician, as evidenced by membership in NSO, NLA, SAVTA, ALOA, ELF, or similar organization.

In order to receive any information in the Safe and Vault area, you must have a browser that is SSL compatible. All data is transmitted in encrypted format, to prevent interception in transit. In addition, you must secure a password in order to decrypt high resolution PCX drawings. That password may be obtained from MBA, or from our site administrator.

You agree to all terms and conditions of disclosure, detailed in the Security.Org site registration requirements. You agree to treat as confidential all materials viewed or downloaded from this area.

ACCESS RESTRICTIONS and SECURITY for VIDEO MATERIAL RELATING TO BYPASS OF HIGH SECURITY LOCKS

This site contains video files that demonstrate bypass and analysis of many high security locks. This material may only be downloaded by registered site users having a Level 3 clearance, and is restricted to law enforcement and government agencies. You must provide a fixed IP address when registering for a security clearance, and have broadband access. These materials are not available to dial-up users, but are included on the LSS+/^x CD/ROM.

SPECIAL REPORTS AND INFORMATION ON PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF ENTRY

Security Laboratories provides reports on bypass techniques for many high security locks. For questions regarding reports which may not be listed on the system, and to commission research, e-mail admin@security.org.

PATENT SEARCH AND RETRIEVAL

Our database and Infobase contains hundreds of patents relating to bypass tools, high security locks, combination lock manipulation, timelocks, and other related topics. Patent cover pages and complete text of many patents are available at no charge. 

SAFE LOCK REFERENCE DATA

Technical information regarding every major safe, vault, and safe lock produced in the world is available on-line, and from MBA, in book or CD/ROM format. Users with a restricted or secret security clearance will have access to this information.

SECURE VIDEO CONFERENCE SERVICE

Secure, multi-point video conference capability is available through this site. Users are encouraged to utilize these facilities for the exchange of information between professional colleagues around the world.

VOICE/IP TELEPHONE SERVICE
